Yes, all my pictures look overly saturated on some monitors


Well, yesterday was fun.

I got home around noon like always and I see two packages beside my front door.

It's my computer parts!!!

So, yesterday I spend all afternoon putting the computer together.

Hooking the processor to the motherboard, screwing it into the tower (which came with a power supply so I didn't have to do that x3), installing the hard drive I bought and attached everything to the power supply and the motherboard. I used the DVD Rom I had from our old desktop.. so that's pretty much the only inner hardware I didn't get new lol

some of you are probably: o_O what?? lol

But yeah, building the computer was fun. I followed the instructions carefully and got it working. But once I dropped something on the motherboard lol

I installed Ubuntu 9.10.
I'd put windows on there, but it's too damn expensive!!! D8 I mean yeah there's the 30 dollar Windows 7 thing for college students.. but that's just for the Upgrade!! This is, or was a blank hard drive, so it needs the full version lol. Ubuntu/Linux is free~ xD


I'm figuring out a way to use Wine to install some windows applications on there. I'm trying to get Microsoft Office to work on there because I hate the look of Open Office Writer.. yes I'm picky.

I was up to about 12:30 last night trying to get that to work, meaning I spent more time than I expected last night. I wanted to finish his picture I'm doing for one of my friends at school. lol She wanted me to paint a picture of flowers for her lol

Well, Have a safe weekend everybody! I know I will because I'm working.. unless my head falls into the deep fryer tomorrow morning when I'm frying chips and stuff.
